ORGANIZED AN AWARENESS CAMPAIGN

Pragyata Foundation organized an awareness campaign on 'Multidisciplinary Approaches in the Study of Medicinal Plants for Tackling Pollution for Urban Population' with the support of the National Medicinal Plants Board, Ministry of AYUSH, in South West and South Delhi districts. The campaign aimed to educate the residents of South West and South Delhi districts about the benefits of medicinal plants and their role in tackling pollution. The campaign was supported by the National Medicinal Plants Board, which is a government organization that promotes the cultivation, conservation, and sustainable utilization of medicinal plants.As part of the campaign, Pragyata Foundation put up posters in various public areas, including parks, community centers, and markets, to raise awareness about the benefits of medicinal plants. The posters provided information about the various medicinal plants that can be grown in homes and gardens, as well as their uses and benefits, such as improving air quality, reducing noise pollution, and providing natural remedies for various ailments.During the campaign, the residents were given information about the different parts of the plants that can be used for medicinal purposes, such as leaves, flowers, roots, and bark. They were also told about the benefits of using medicinal plants in everyday life, such as adding them to meals or using them as natural remedies.Brochures containing detailed information about medicinal plants and their uses were distributed among the residents, and they were encouraged to ask any questions they had. The volunteers of Pragyata Foundation answered their queries and provided guidance on how to grow and care for medicinal plants.Overall, the awareness campaign organized by Pragyata Foundation was successful in educating the residents of South West and South Delhi districts about the benefits of medicinal plants and their role in tackling pollution. By putting up posters in public areas & distributing brochures, the campaign was able to reach a wider audience and encourage the residents to take up gardening and cultivate medicinal plants, which can have a positive impact on the environment and their health.health.
